Hello!
I’m Amber Sarelle. Among many other things, I’m a Cal State University-San Bernardino Alumni (MFA), activist, photographer, graphic designer, museum regular, music lover, and desert frequenter. I’m a third-generation Californian who grew up in the foster system all over Southern California. Currently based in Redlands. My highly stigmatized childhood informs my practice of ethical design. My passion and my work's through-line is liberation. As much as I have deep love and appreciation for the principles and elements of design, I love community more. It’s is my deep belief that those who choose the work of visual communication hold a responsibility to use it to help transform our world into a more sustainable and equitable one.

The effect of what I put into the fabric of society is a key consideration of my work.
